Photo of Fire and 4X Enlargement of Black Object

Date of Sighting: September 2, 2007
Time of Sighting: 7:12 PM PDT
Date Sighting Reported: September 10, 2007
Duration of Sighting: (No Visual. Object Only Seen in Photo)
Location of Sighting: Tujunga, California (About 20 MI North of Downtown Los Angeles)
Latitude: 34.25 Degrees North
Longitude: 118.29 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: (Only Photographer)
Weather: Clear Skies. Visibility 10 Miles With Calm Winds (Los Angeles Airport). Obviously the Smoke Would be Reducing Visibility Where the Photos Were Taken.

Description (In Witness's Own Words): I took about 4 pictures several seconds apart of a fire in Acton, CA. I'm in Tujunga and we can see the fire just popping over the ridge here at 7:20pm when I took the pictures. I didn't notice the black object until I showed them to my husband. However, it only appeared in that single picture and we've been watching intently to see if maybe it was a helicopter, but have not seen any whatsoever in the sky. The cause of the fire is supposedly lightning and it's 102 degrees + right now. Of all four photos taken within seconds of each other starting at 7:12pm. the first 3 are void of anything then bam, something is in the last photo.

Investigator's Notes: The object in the photo does not resemble a helicopter. It also does not appear to be a bird. Given available data I don't know the identity of this object. The object was not seen and was only noticed in the last of four photos taken. This fact obviously means that the object suddenly appeared. (Of course this is assuming that the photographer took each picture in the same area of the fire.) The photos were taken with a Kodak Z730 Zoom Digital Camera. (Maximum resolution is 5 megapixels.)
