Time of Sighting: 9:10 PM EDT
Duration of Sighting: Around One Minute
Location of Sighting: Wallingford, Connecticut (See Map)
Latitude: 41.43 Degrees North
Longitude: 72.79 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: Four
Number of Witnesses Interviewed: One
Weather: Broken Clouds (Mostly Cloudy) With Cloud Bases at 9,500 Feet. Visibility 10 Miles.

Description (In Witness's Own Words): We saw 3 glowing orange orbs, not quite round. The orbs hovered over a farm for a minute or so, then started to fly off, gaining speed as they left, and then finally disappearing into the clouds.

Second Report by Witness (In Response to Questions):

1. Were you driving at the time you saw lights?
Initially I was driving, I stopped the car and got
out to get a better look.

2. How many witnesses besides yourself saw the

Three other people. My wife and Two people in another
vehicle that stopped - I didn't get their names.

3. Did the orbs appear in a consistent formation
(e.g. circular, triangular, etc)?

From our angle, It looked like a u shape. Two at the
same height and one lower, but it could have been a
triangle from another angle.

4. If possible could you construct a computer sketch
of the orbs and send to me via email attachment?

Look at this site, it looks almost identical to the
ones in these pictures, only closer. (See Photo Above)

Investigator's Notes: Two groups of witnesses in two cars viewed the orbs. The fact that two groups of independent witnesses saw the orbs adds gravity to the sighting although the identity of the other witnesses is not known. Certainly the orbs don't fit any conventional explanation like meteors, balloons, etc. Given available information I have no explanation for what the witnesses saw.
