Description: In regards to the sighting in Antioch, California, our family and guests also witnessed this sighting. While lighting fireworks in our backyard shortly after midnight we spotted the lights. Some of the lights stopped for a few seconds as some of the fireworks were going off. We saw several lights as well and three of us attempted to take photos of the lights and the attached is the best shots that we took of the the lights. A friend of ours who also lives about five miles away saw the lights as well. Please feel free to contact me if needed.

Comments: Here is another group of witnesses who saw the airborne lights shortly after minute on New Years Day, 2008. I will be contacting the witness for more information regarding the sighting. The photos show streaking which is due to movement of the camera or motion of the lights or a combination of both. The photos show that the actual lights were of orange color. (The blue streaks in photo two below the reddish-orange streaks are a mystery.) Other witnesses to this sighting are urged to report to this website.
