Description: I was delivering pizza and as I was heading south I saw an object in the sky that was incredibly bright. The object was moving south at a very fast pace. I thought that it was a shooting star at first until I noticed that it had no tail and when it got to a certain point in the sky it turned west and then disappeared from sight. It was a very clear night and there was no cloud cover for it to have gone behind. I was so excited that I wanted to tell my wife and before I could call her she called me and said that she had just seen this thing in the sky. It was the same thing I had seen at the same time. It was awesome!

Comments: UFOs Northwest received another sighting on the same night in nearby Goodyear, Arizona. Click here to read about this sighting. The Goodyear sighting was somewhat different in that the light (object) displayed little movement and the sighting was about 90 minutes later. Therefore it is not known if these two sightings are related. The Avondale sighting is strange in that the light displayed erratic movement by abruptly changing direction. Anyone in the Phoenix area who witnessed anything unusual in the sky on March 10, 2008 is urged to file a report.
