Weather: Broken Clouds (Partly Cloudy) at 6,000 Feet, Overcast at 7,500 Feet. Visibility Was 10 Miles. Winds Were From the East at 8 MPH.

Description: I and three friends of mine saw a similar event take place around this same location. Except it happened on Saturday, January 26, 2008.  At the same time of day.  Is it possible you have the wrong date below?  (Unless UFOs strike in the same place and time.)  We were in north Orange looking NNW approximately five miles away I estimate.

        The objects appeared to come "streaking" downward leaving a trail of light.  Then they hovered and moved around slowly.  One circled a bit. Then one disappeared. Then a second later appeared on the other side of the other object. They kept getting lower on the horizon behind the houses in front of us. We stood on our cars and one of us got a ladder out of the garage to see better. When we could not see them anymore, we got into our cars and drove to a clearing to see them better, but then they were gone.  They were in the air as we could see at least more than one full minute.  We were shaking our heads.

        They were as bright as looking at a lightbulb one foot from your face. Yet they were at that distance.  Amazing! Oh yes:  We saw the same helicopter circling around the UFOs.  It had its light on. I don’t know what it was doing up there.  There was a DEFINITE difference in the UFOs and the helicopter.   Someone needs to talk to that guy.!! He had the best view.

Comments: Note that the witness read the report from Fullerton, California that occurred on January 26, 2008. (The date was erroneously entered and reported by the witness as January 27.) It is believed that the two separate groups of witnesses saw the same objects. Yes, it would be nice to interview the helicopter pilot!
