Description: I would like to report seeing a silver metallic object over Highway I-88 while driving by the North Aurora exit near Chicago at approximately 12:00 PM Saturday 10/4 2008. The object appeared to be very distant. It was oval in appearance just hanging in the sky. It seemed to rotate enough that it reflected off the sun and then disappeared. It was a clear sunny day with no clouds. The length of the observation was approximately 5 seconds. I am curious if anyone else had witnessed this phenomena?

Comments: Sightings of disk and oval shaped metallic objects have been frequently reported in the few months. The witness was driving which would be an impediment to his observation. Also the object was quite distant making accurate observation more difficult. However, the fact that the day was sunny with apparent good visibility would be advantageous. This sighting fits into the "unidentified category."
