Fireman Sees Flying Triangle Move in an Erratic Pattern in the Night Sky

Date Sighting Reported: December 2, 2008
Duration of Sighting: 50 Minutes
Location of Sighting: Coldspring, Texas (About 50 MI NNE of Houston)
Latitude: 30.59 Degrees North
Longitude: 95.13 Degrees West
Weather: (At Huntsville, Texas. Coldspring is About 20 Miles East-Southeast of Huntsville.) Skies Were Clear. Visibility Was 10 Miles. Winds Were From the South-Southeast at 9 MPH. (Witness Stated That Skies Were Cloudy at His Location.)

Description: I was standing outside the Coldspring, Texas Volunteer Fire Dept. Station. I went out to get some fresh air at approximately 7:25 PM and observed the sky until 8:15 PM. I currently work for an EMS service here in Coldspring, Texas. I had stepped outside because I felt restless, and irritable. When I went outside this is what happened: I was talking on my cell phone to my friend, when I noticed a light moving to my left in an unusual light array (three lights in a triangle pattern). The lights were moving opposite of civil aircraft. The "triangle" was moving in an upside down pattern, instead of a common tip of triangle formation forward. I then looked back to the southeastern sky above the San Jacinto Court House. The lights rose at a slow rise into the horizon. The lights moved in a weird type pattern. The light originated in a white light then the light disappeared leaving only red lights. There were no strobes like civil aircraft. The were lower than the clouds. Note these sets of lights were different from the initial set of three to my left. The lights rising above the courthouse repeated this several times. Note: Every time I tried to get a photo nothing showed up. The lights would change from the white light to red light as they went over my left and above. It is not my intent to gain attention from this. I didn't intend to see this!!! I am an EMT/firefighter. I don't want to be taken as a loon.

Comments: The witness has reported a flying triangle that abruptly changed characteristics (light colors). We routinely receive similar reports of these triangles. The identity of these objects remains a mystery.
