Weather: Skies Were Clear. Visibility Was 10 Miles. Winds Were Calm.

Description: On 6/21/08 at 01:15 (military time) my co-worker pointed out a light in the sky over the ocean seeming to be halfway between Dana Point and Catalina. It was a disk shaped craft that moved side to side in an inverted arc very fast. It was moving as though it was swinging on a pendulum. When the bottom swung up towards us it was very bright and very large. It had round blue lights along the outside of the circle and a red one in the middle. It moved back and forth for about a minute and disappeared behind a building. I have never seen a craft move like that and it was not of a shape I recognize. The lights were not blinking and they were very clear when the bottom turned towards us. When viewing from the side it was just blurry light swinging back and forth. I have never reported anything like this before because I have never seen anything that I could not explain with logic. Please let me know if anyone else saw it or if there is a logical explanation for what I saw.

Comments: No, there is no logical explanation for what the witness saw assuming this his observations are accurate. We have received two other reports from the Dana Point area in 2008. One sighting occurred on May 4, 2008 and the other on May 26, 2008.
