Two See Large Flying Brown Rectangle in Night Sky.

Date of Sighting: September 20 , 2008
Time of Sighting: 11:59 PM PDT
Date Sighting Reported: December 20, 2008
Duration of Sighting: 30 Seconds
Location of Sighting: Federal Way, Washington (Suburb to South of Seattle)
Latitude: 47.32 Degrees North
Longitude: 122.31 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: Two
Number of Witnesses Interviewed: One
Weather: A Few Clouds Were Measured at 400 Feet and Skies Were Overcast at 3,500 Feet. Visibility Was 5 Miles and Light Rain Was Falling. Winds Were From the East-Southeast at 6 MPH.

Description: I observed a rectangular shaped object that was as big in the sky as my thumb knuckle to the tip of my thumb, if my arm was outstretched to the sky. The color appeared to be dark brown or charcoal colored and the object had no lights. The wider side of the rectangle was in the front and back. The object flew directly overhead and we observed it for at least 30 seconds before it flew over my house and was eventually blocked by my roof. At this time of night it is so quiet out that you would be able to hear your neighbors having a conversation at a normal volume of speech and this night was particularly quiet. This object did not make a sound and had no visible lights or rockets on it. I do live in an area where planes regularly take off and land from Seatac Airport or Mchord Air Force Base and I know the difference between conventional aircraft and what I saw that night. I still watch the sky, but have not seen anything unusual since. I am very interested in local sightings of a rectangular silent craft with no lights. Seeing is believing and my girlfriend is positive now that something is going on out there, but how do you explain such odd sightings in the sky? I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has seen something similar or thinks they know what I saw.

Comments: I don't know what the witnesses saw. The object must have been flying low given the inclement weather conditions at the time of the sighting. The witnesses reported some other sightings during a 30 minute timeframe prior to the above sighting. However, the above sighting was much more compelling than their prior sightings. To maintain brevity and clarity only the above sighting is included in this report.
