Date Sighting Reported: November 14, 2008
Duration of Sighting: About 5 Minutes
Location of Sighting: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Latitude: 44.5 Degrees North

Number of Witnesses: One
Weather: Scattered Clouds (Partly Cloudy) Were Measured at 500 Feet. Broken Clouds (Mostly Cloudy) Were Measured at 1,300 Feet and Skies Were Overcast at 4,300 Feet. Visibility Was 4 Miles. (Rain Had Been Occurring.) Winds Were From the West at 6 MPH.
Description: I saw at least twenty bright lights in the sky. The lights became addicting. I had to watch them. They came closer and closer as I watched and after about five minutes they disappeared in an instant.
Comments: The inclement weather conditions indicate that whatever the witness saw was quite low in the sky. The sudden disappearance of the lights could be due to the fact that the lights were ascending and therefore disappeared due to the relatively poor visibility (4 miles) or above the low clouds. However, I don't have an explanation for these lights. |
