Description: It was approximately 1:50 am on April 19th In Greer, South Carolina. I stepped outside to call for my cat who had been missing for three days. I looked up towards the sky and pointed my red laser pointer (a very weak cat toy) up to the left of the moon. It was a very bright night and the sky was lit well. As I looked toward a star where I had pointed, I saw a cigar shaped object shoot across the sky at lightning speed. It went horizon to horizon in 3 seconds! I would estimate its distance from me to be about 1000 feet, but really it could of been closer or further as it was almost like looking at a shadow. It could have been 100' in diameter. I was freaked out, it gave me chills. It was black as night against the sky like a shadow, No lights whatsoever. I tried to really convince myself it was a bird flying at night, but my eyes don't lie. I saw an object of some sort and it didnt flap no wings! It was absolutly silent too, no sound at all, I tried to hear something because surely anything moving that fast would leave a sound, but it didn't. I didn't tell my wife for two days. I just forgot as the excitement wore off quick and I spaced it. I just remembered again tonight so I found this website and well there it is.
