Description: The first thing that caught my attention was the sound it was making. This is hard for me to describe it, but it sounded like it was hovering almost like a helicopter (really fast without the noise of an engine). It was extremely loud too. I was with a friend that night and he had heard the same thing. My friend and I started to freak out just because the noise it was creating. The noise was going on for like two minutes. We started looking around in the sky and that is when I saw a white light going around in circles extremely fast. As soon as I saw it I heard a wild explosion then in a split second the noise stopped and the light disappeared without any trace. It was late that night. Right after that all the dogs in my neighborhood were barking. I was amazed that no one had wakened up to the noise that was really loud. My friend and I were stunned because of what we had encountered.

Comments: This is an intriguing case given the loud sound and unusual aerial display of lights. Some fireworks might have somewhat similar characteristics, but one wouldn't expect that fireworks would be in the sky at 1 AM on a winter morning in Miami.
