Description: At first I saw a bright orange circular light. The light was small, larger than a star and had a large red and orange trail. The object itself could not have been an airplane. There was a constant light coming from the direct center of the object. No flashing was noted and the object had no tail or wing. The motion at first was fast, but slowed to a steady pace heading south and then seemed as if it changed direction heading west towards us. However, it then shot off leaving the trail and a bright yellow flash as it disappeared from clear view ranging 10 plus miles in each direction! It was extremely visible. It wouldn't surprise me if this gets reported from someone else! I live by the airport and is the 3rd actual sighting of a UFO.

Comments: The witness's description of the light (or object) does not fit any explanation for known aircraft or phenomena.
