Duration of Sighting: 10 to 12 Minutes
Location of Sighting: Driving Westbound on I-285 in Sandy Springs, Georgia
Latitude: 33.91 Degrees North
Longitude: 84.36 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: One
Weather: Witness Stated That Drizzle Was Falling and That Thunderstorms Were in the Area. The Atlanta Airport Reported Heavy Thunderstorms Began Shortly After 10 PM EDT. The Sighting Occurred About 10 Miles North of Atlanta.

Description: The UFOs I saw were on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at approximately 10 PM. I was heading west on I-285W between 400S and Harts field International Airport. The sky was very very gray and there was lightning and thunder visible ahead, but not where I was. Where I was driving it was drizzling and cloudy overhead. I saw 4 or 5 white roundish objects in the sky to my right traveling forming a circle, but every 20 – 30 seconds merging together in the center of the circle to form one white large object. Then the light would almost immediately separating again. At the same time that they are separating and merging they are also traveling west in the same direction as I was. (These were definitely not aircraft.) They were low enough for me to be clear about that. They were white roundish objects. They could not have been beams of light from the ground because they traveled along with me for several miles. (I was traveling about 60 mph.) They were in my sight for approximately 10 – 12 minutes and they were low enough to been seen clearly and to track. Then when I looked up again, they had just vanished from sight! There was nothing on the late news that night or the next day. Please e-mail me if anyone else reported this. There was so much traffic that night. Other people must have reported this.

Comments: The witness has made a detailed report and explained details of her sighting. It is difficult to say what was sighted. I don't think that the lights were weather related nor were they conventional aircraft. The witness also provided some rationale in why she didn't think that the lights were projected from the ground.
