Latitude: 47.66 Degrees North
Longitude: 117.09 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: Two
Number of Witnesses Interviewed: One

Description: We saw two unidentified flying objects flying Together. One was red and the other was white. My co-worker and I were surveying not too far from I-90 near Liberty lake WA (Spokane metro area) and after admiring the moon I suddenly noticed a bright star looking oblect flickering from dim to very bright white in an inconsistent fashion at the 11 o'clock position about half a finger's length from the moon. I had thought to myself that there is no way you would see a star at 10:10 am PDT. The object started to move east and west little bits at a time making right angle turns to the north and south. The object then darted across the sky in what seemed at least 100 miles then stopping instantly remaining stationary for some 15 minutes while moving at a slower rate, but making right angle turns every few seconds. We continued working while it remained in the sky when I noticed it disappeared then reappeared near the moon again 2 seconds later. This time I noticed the intense bright white object was joined with a second bright red object looking to be the same size. They seemed to "play" with each other for at least 25 minutes making more right angle turns at incredible rates of speed in the western half of the sky darting from the north to south side. I could not really make out what size the UFOs were. All I can really say is it appeared to be two bright dots similar to stars in the sky. I am an experienced pilot who flew for many years since I was a child then flying for Forestry for the British Columbia Government and I have to say this was by no means any type of conventional aircraft that the public knows. Has anyone else seeing anything in the Northwest lately? The thought of the military crossed my mind testing unconventional aircraft/spacecraft such as the TR3B reverse-engineered from ET Technology, but who knows right?

Comments: This is an incredible sighting by a very credible witness. He has described aerial objects in the daytime on a clear day executing strange aerial maneuvers. More analysis will be conducted of this sighting. Updates will be posted.

Update October 16, 2008: The radar data obtained from the FAA were analyzed. Some of the data requested were not available. The "unavailable data" concerned data from the local "ASR-9" unit which tracks approach and takeoffs from Spokane International Airport. Data were received for the ARSR-3 (or 4) unit located at Pica Mountain (see map). These data show some unknown returns with somewhat erratic movement to the west of the witness position. However, the returns are in an area where the witnesses only later saw the objects. The objects were originally sighted to the east-southeast and later to the west. The sighting period went from 10:10 AM to 10:25 AM. The above returns were around 10:11 AM. In conclusion no "strong radar tracking" of any objects was obtained in the area, direction, and time of the witness sighting.
