Aerial Object Shows Up in Background of Photo of Island
Photo of Object & Possible Disturbed Water.
Photo Was Taken Towards Vashon Island to the North.
Date of Sighting: July 28, 2008
Time of Sighting: 4:30 PM PDT
Location of Sighting: Point Defiance in Tacoma, Washington (See Map)
Description: This is the photo that I took at Owen Beach at Point Defiance Park. I was on the beach looking at Vashon Island. Please note the water under underneath the craft. The water is disturbed under the object. It goes to a point then there is a cup like shape where it seems to come out of the water. Its about 80 feet above the water.
Note: The photo was taken with a low resolution cell phone camera. (The photo was taken with a Qualcomm 3G Cdma Phone.) Therefore little detail can be determined through enlargement. The witness did not see anything unusual. He noticed the object when later viewing the photo on his computer.
