Description: Just before sunrise I was sitting at the kitchen table having my morning coffee and making smokes for the day. Glancing out the window frequently, I was enjoying the full moon and had decided to gage the space that the moon would move in 5 minute intervals by sighting it throught the leafless branches of our apple tree. As I glanced out to check the progress at precisely 8:00am, I was amazed to see two bright white objects due West; heading East and very rapidly gaining altitude! I must have watched them for about 5 seconds before I realized what I was seeing. With my eyes now firmly focused on the objects and shouting UFOs, I watched them quickly continuing to gain altitude and to disappear from view. The total time that I had them in my view was approximately 15 to 20 seconds. As far as description goes these objects where round in nature and 2 to 3 times as bright as a star. I’m certain they where not airliners as jets cross over our area at a fixed altitude and remain within view for about 2 to 3 minutes. These objects where moving at an incredible speed and headed for space!

Comments: The witness has provided a good argument that what he observed were not conventional aircraft. The fact that the lights were ascending rules out conventional explanations like meteors or space debris. The speed of ascent also would eliminate balloons as an explanation.
