Description: I was trying to leave my mom's house to head back home to Mountlake Terrace, WA. My daughter, her boyfriend, my mom and myself all noticed a white light hovering over the mountains. (My mom noticed it first.) We told her it was probably a star, but then it changed to red. Then it lowered closer to the hills, then changed back to white. It would glow bright and dim with each change of color. Then it slowly moved out of sight entirely, by lowering behind the hills. Several pictures were taken but only 2 or 3 were clear enough. Oddly, while loading the pictures onto my computer today, there were two bright yellow odd-shaped "somethings" just below the hills line, but too far above the city. This is in the same shot as the red/white UFO. This was not noticed at all during the time we saw all this. They look like duplicates of one another and they almost look like street lamps. (They are too high above the city for this to be true.) It also shows "streaks" as they are rising. Maybe you could explain?

Comments: I believe that the streaks are probably street lights or other commercial lights. The streaking is likely due to movement of the camera and the slow shutter speed setting of the camera (one second). A Canon Powershot A560 digital camera was used. The light sighted near the horizon was likely a celestial object (bright planet). However, the direction of the sighting was not disclosed so a reliable celestial explanation cannot be made.
