Description: I'm writing to confirm the sighting of a large white rectangle flipping through the sky as reported from Calgary, Alberta. Of notable difference however, I live in Edmonton, Alberta (about 50 miles north of Calgary) and saw the flipping white rectangle on Friday, May 15 while at the driving range. I was facing north and saw the object moving from north to southeast. The object seemed very large as it was floating around very far away from me and yet was easily distinguishable on a cloudy day. I also saw the object slip behind a cloud before reappearing. My friend who also saw the object and lives in the area says he often sees helium balloons that get away from a car dealership nearby (it was also quite windy that day).

Note: I believe that the witness provided a likely explanation for his sighting. The "car dealership" explanation of a balloon release seems to be reasonable given that his friend has witnessed these balloon releases and that the day was windy. This could also explain the sighting in Calgary of a similar object on the following day.
