Date of Sighting: September 5, 2009
Time of Sighting: 10 PM CDT
Location of Sighting: Fitchburg, Wisconsin (Central Wisconsin Near Madison)

Description: I saw a yellowish-white light. It was too large to be a shooting star. My sighting was 1/2 second in duration. I saw the light looking towards the northwest. The light came down at an angle.

Second Report by Witness: No, I didn't see a trail after the light. It definitely seemed bigger than a meteor, and it was a bit hazy last night so it didn't seem clear enough to see meteors.

Note: I don't think that the light was a meteor or a satellite. I have no other explanation.
