Fort Towson is in Southeastern Oklahoma Near the Texas Border.

Description: The witness called a few days after his sighting. He was on duty as a security guard at a local Power Plant. He was talking on the phone and noticed a bright red (like road flare) that moved in variable motion left to right across the sky. He said that he went outside and the object stopped and then disappeared. He stated that skies were clear. No sound was heard. He said that he has never seen anything like this. The light was described as about twice as bright as the brightest star. He served as a deputy sheriff for several years before taking the security guard position.

Note: Certainly one could say that this was an incredible sighting by a credible witness. Unidentified!
