Gallatin is About 20 Miles Northeast of Nashville.

Description: I saw seven small red objects like dots that were moving faster than normal aircraft. They were not in a formation. They were more like a cluster of objects. They moved from southwest to northeast. I was looking due east from my address.

Additional Information Submitted (In Response to Questions): No the dots did not trail like a meteor. I had just watched the meteor shower last week. The dots maintained their formation and altitude for the duration of my viewing.

Note: The witness has provided a good argument that the red dots were not aircraft or meteors. Given his description I have no explanation for this sighting.
