Aerial Triangle With White Light on Each Edge Seen in Night SkyDate of Sighting: November 1, 2009
Time of Sighting: 9:45 PM PST
Location of Sighting: Indio, California (S. California Desert About 10 MI ESE of Palm Springs)
Description: I witnessed a triangular shaped craft flying North to South over the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. There was a white light in each corner. It looked to be equilateral. It did not make a sound. I would estimate that it was about 2000 to 3000 feet above the ground and traveled out of sight in about 8 seconds. As it passed the lights seemed to change places and the triangle seemed to stretch as it moved away from me.
Note: Triangular and boomerang shaped object reports are commonplace. The apparent change in shape of the object is unusual. The identity of these objects continues to be a mystery.
