Kingston is in South-Central Ohio
About 80 Miles East-Southeast of Dayton.

Description: We were driving south on state route 159 and to the southwest in the sky myself and a buddy of mine both saw 5 bright orange lights appear one right after the other appear in a sequence. After a few seconds they just seemed to turn off. They were off in a distance and pretty high up.

Note: This sighting sure sounds like flares used in military operations. Perhaps exercises could have been conducted from nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton? (This is speculation because I don't know if this is a military operations area and if any exercises were being conducted.)
