Bright Turquoise Ball (Size of Baseball) Seen in AM SkyDate of Sighting: October 19, 2009
Time of Sighting: 4:50 AM EDT
Location of Sighting: Monticello, Indiana (W. Indiana About 60 MI NNW of Indianapolis)
Description: I saw a bright turquoise ball about the size of a baseball. It went across the sky. It showed up directly above me and went off to the east. Then it was gone.
Note: No satellites were visible at this time. The "apparent baseball size" means that the light (object) was probably quite large. (The size is not known because the distance is not known.) Given the brief description I don't have an explanation.
