Sighting Reports 2009
Oval Shaped Object Hovers in Night SkyDate of Sighting: September 19, 2009
Time of Sighting: 4 AM CDT
Location of Sighting: Omaha, Nebraska
Description: I saw a hovering oval shaped object. It tilted upward on the right, had flashing colored lights. It was spinning, hovering in sky, then moved up and down, for approximately 15 minutes. It then ascended up and to the north until it couldn't be seen with binoculars.
Note: Many sightings occurred on September 19, 2009. However, most of these sightings were several hours after the above sighting and were the result of a NASA rocket launch. I have no explanation for the above sighting. It sounds more like the "classic" flying saucer sighting.
