Hello everyone, I must say that I am very surprise that no one reported this sighting to the police, including me. On that Monday night my wife and daughter were coming fromballet class and they ran into the wife to tell us about this huge lights over the fields off of Mc Arthur and Shultee as always I did not believe but my daughter force me to go out and look for this UFO with her. She is only 10 years old and has 20/20 eye sight, she said she has never seen such a bright light in her entire life. My wife said that the object was just floating over the fields but the light was so bright it look light day light around the object. If so many people witness this event it would be nice to come forward and meet at the local coffee shop and talk about it. Oscar

Excellent pictures. My thanks to those who took them. The second photo looks like what I saw.
If this were something from the Air Force or lab, then you would think they would use a color of light that wouldn't stick out to the public to draw attention. No matter what it is this is a fun story. I hope there are many other pictures out there that will be submitted that we haven't seen yet.

For anyone who figure's this was a remote controlled plane, including some of the more rude and arrogant commentator's on here, who wish to condasendenly call folk's morons ( try not to do that anymore anywhere, as it's very uncivil )............... It was far too large for such, as well as the fact that it at one point was sighted "directly Due East of City Hall" by a fellow walking down "10th Str." This was obviously too far a range for a remote controlled plane that, any "hobby enthusiast" could control or even have access to! ............... Also, from what I and the two other's, I spoke with down there on "6th Str" that night, we all agreed that it appeared to be an "orb shaped" craft. It absolutely had no wing's what so ever......Like one other fellow on here. I at first thought the Union Pacific Railroad had changed the warning beacon at the top of their microwave tower again, while driving home from work. But, soon realized it was too far above to be so. Also at that point in time it was still too far to the North East. I parked my car in the yard and then ran down to the corner. That's where I ran into a young gentleman who told me he first saw it behind City Hall............Those of us who live over here in the old part of town, have a very clear view of the "South East Skies" due to the open expance of the now nearly vacant Upper U.P. Yard..........Oh and for anyone who believes a "conveniently placed" story on Facebook about a remote controlled airplane. I'll sell you all six bridge's out at Mossdale Crossing for one hundred dollar's apiece................

Wouldn't it have to be a big light/plane or whatever it was to be seen all over Tracy? I don't see how a little remote plane would put off enough light to be seen all over Tracy.

It's not that I don't believe in UFO's, and the explanation about the plane seems plausible, but it could also be the Leonid Meteor, which is very active in November each year. From what I've been reading, this year's show has begun in full force. Here's a link to a story about lights in Yolo County Sunday night that might help explain what some folks are seeing now.
Enjoy the view and share with the kids. We sit in the backyard in lounge chairs with all the lights off and count "shooting stars". It's WAY COOLl!

I SEEN THAT SAME BLUE FUZZY LIGHT WHILE I WAS AT THE 99 CENT STORE AROUND 600-700 PM ON 11/9. LIVERMORE LAB ??? PUT THE HIPPIE CABBAGE DOWN. I WAS ACOMMPANIED WITH MY FRIEND AND WE WERE OBSERVING THE LIGHT FOR ABOUT 35-40 MINUTES. AT FIRST I HAD THOUGHT THE BLUE LIGHT WAS THE TOP OF THE RADIO TOWER OFF OF MACARTHUR DR. BY THE TRAIN TRACKS. I LIGHT WOULD BE VISIBLE FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN FADE OUT WHEN I FOSRT OBSERVED IT. I HAD READ THESE BLUE/WHITE LIGHTS HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY SIGHTED IN THE MODESTO AREA (ROUGHLY) FEW OTHERS HAVE SAID IT IS A GLIDER. I DISAGREE. MOVED WAY TO FAST FOR ANY PLANE/HELICOPTER/GLIDER/RC PLANE TO MANUVER THE WAY IT DID. MOTIONED SIDE TO SIDE & UP AND DOWN. AS I SAID, IT WOULD FADE OUT, THEN RE-APPEAR IN A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT AREA IN THE SKY. STRANGE ? INDEED. UFO ? WHY THE HELL NOT. CHEERS!

If this came from those idiots at Livermore Lab they have been planning this for years. Anything requiring LED's or aircraft would require millions of dollars and 20 committees. Some pompous DOE shirt would be taking credit anyway.
Facebook tells the story, good fake out.

Two evenings earlier while traveling south on Chrisman Road it was approx. dusk, maybe 5 - 5:30 p.m., as I headed onto the HI-way 132 on-ramp I noticed a flaming object at about a 60 degree pitch falling out of the sky and into the hills behind and west of the Tracy golf course.
Anyone...

A remote control plane makes sense, but disappointing if it was. It's more fun to think it was a UFO, and of course is there any intelligent life in Tracy for aliens to be interested in ? Maybe it's us from the future and are here to buy up real estate. :o)

We watched it land between a house and some farm land. It sure looked cool, and drew a crowd too." --- I guess this explains the mystery light a couple of weeks ago? :)

I also saw it just before 6 PM on Monday when I was driving on Schulte Rd just leaving Mountain Mikes driving East to make a left turn on Tracy Blvd. I only saw one blue light and it caught my eye because I don't recall ever seeing a blue light in the sky. It wasn't blinking and I only looked at it for maybe two seconds because the traffic was very heavy. I even thought to myself in a joking way that maybe I just saw a UFO and I'll have to check the news to see if anyone was wondering the same thing I was. When I read this headline I thought if it's a blue light others saw you can include me.
Most likely it has something to do with the lab, but it's more fun otherwise.

Last Night at 6:30pm My Fiance and I were at my Wherehouse off Cabe Rd and she noticed the Blue Lights. We began to watch the lights for over 20 minutes to the South. The Blue light was slowly sweeping the sky from east to west almost like it was on a swing or a balloon tethered to the ground. Only problem was it moved to far from east to west to be attached to anything. The blue light was also glowing brighter and dimmer with no set pattern. But when it got really bright you could almost see that the UFO was almost egg shape. I have never seen anything like this before and is in no way any type of air craft known to the public. The Craft had no noise from where i was. The distance of the object was very hard to figure out due to the Deep Blue Almost LED like Light. 10 min into watching the light it seamed to move towards the mountains towards the bay area but then 5 min later moved back towards Tracy. 5 min after that it was gone. I made a couple calls to friends trying to get them to see what we were seeing but they were out of town.

Hello Al Galaviz;
Considering we are close to classified Military test sites from the Livermore Labs. I believe these people may have seem either a real UFO or a classified Air Force Project code name Aurora.
In 1997, the same thing happen but its on film, The history channel UFO Hunter has a 60 minute session about this V shaped winged aircraft that flew over Tracy and the Livermore Labs.
