Location of Sighting: White Haven, Pennsylvania (E. PA About 10 Miles SE of Wilkes-Barre)

Description: I looked out my window and saw a bright white light. It looked like Jupiter, but a bit brighter. As I'm staring at it, it is swaying from side to side and is sometimes still. After about 8 minutes it started to move away slowly becoming a very dim light in the sky. (I am not sure how long it was there before I noticed it.)

Note: The report sounds like observation of a bright planet or star with an apparent movement due to the optical illusion autokinesis. However, the fact that the light dimmed and disappeared in a brief period of time rules out this explanation. Plus the witness did not indicate the direction of the sighting. Weather conditions were clear at the time of the sighting so the light couldn't have been a celestial object blotted out by a cloud.
