Apparent Object and Enlargement.

Location of Sighting: Whittier, California (Los Angeles Area)

Description: I took this picture of the clouds yesterday about 1 PM in Whittier CA . When I put the photo on my computer I saw this anomaly that puzzled me.

Note: I believe that this anomaly is a "lens flare" due to the fact that the photo was taken into the Sun. The photo was taken with a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi camera. This is a "high end" camera with single lens reflex (SLR) and a maximum resolution of 10.1 mega-pixels.
