Sighting Reports 2009

Man Sees "Halogen" Type Lights Hovering in Triangular Pattern

Date of Sighting: November 25, 2009
Time of Sighting: 6:30 PM EST
Location of Sighting: Windsor, Ontario, Canada (Long US-Canadian Line About 1 Mi From Detroit)

Description: I was driving home from work one night in Windsor Ontario and I saw 3 gigantic lights in the distance. The instance I saw them they caught my eye and I was almost drawn to them. I knew there was something strange about it because everyday when I come home these lights were not there. As I got closer and closer, the lights were still there. They were a really bright white color, almost like the halogen bulbs you see in the newer expensive cars. The lights were not moving in any direction. They were stationary. Luckily the lights were on my way home so I had to pass the spot that they were. I kept my eye on them to make sure they were still there. I turned onto Forest Glade Drive and slowed down as I passed the church on the right side of the road. I looked up right over top the church. Let me add that this was the perfect setting for something strange to happen, almost like something out of a movie, but anyway, there they were again the three bright lights. The lights were shaped in a triangular pattern, but I couldn't see much because of the rain that night. I drove by it and spun my car around right away to go back and check it out. When I got there the lights were gone. It was as if they just vanished. What I don't understand is why whatever it was, stayed over top that church for that long and as soon as I ended up seeing it, it took off. I think about it everyday. It boggles my mind.

Note: The witness's report is somewhat confusing because he shifts timelines in his report. If one doesn't read his report carefully you may be led to believe that he saw these lights on several nights, but in actuality he only had one sighting. The lights must have been bright as he compared them to halogen lights and rain was falling at the time of the sighting which would restrict visibility.
