Man Sees Slow Moving Silent Delta Wing Craft Disappear

Aberdeen is Between Trenton, New Jersey and New York City.
Aberdeen is Between Trenton, New Jersey and New York City.

Date of Sighting: January 13, 2010
Time of Sighting: 8:31 EST
Location of Sighting: Aberdeen, New Jersey

Description: While outside with one of my dogs, I noticed some dim lights in the shape of a wing. The lights were not very bright. I think the object was only about 2,000 feet above me. This is a highly congested area close to New York City and Newark New Jersey. I observed the lights headed in a due north direction. I thought it was a jet in the flight path, but could barely see the wing shaped lights and, there was no noise. I routinely see jets in the flight paths and always hear their engines. There was no sound associated with the dim lights. The speed can only be estimated around 200 mph, but seemed the same speed planes in the flight path are doing. I observed the lights for approximately 10 seconds, and then they were gone. There were no blinking lights, no red or green lights. The lights were so dim as to not be able to determine a color other than that of dim headlights on an automobile running on an almost dead battery. There was no beam of light either.

Second Report by Witness (In Response to Investigator Questions): It was partly cloudy/slightly cloudy. Stars could be seen. As a matter of fact, I was checking out constellations, Orion, and Andromeda. That is why I noticed the lights moving from Orion to Polaris. If it was an aircraft, I saw no blinking lights whatsoever. I saw it approaching me and then go past me south to north. The lights appeared to be on the tips/ends of a delta wing, with one light at the center of the leading edge of the wing. They were extremely dim, and constant. So the the weather was mostly clear with only a few clouds. I could see some planes below the clouds and some planes above the clouds. I do not have cameras or phones to take movies or pictures so it is only my word. Perhaps it was an aircraft in distress with electrical problems, but the lights seemed in an odd configuration for conventional "earthly" aircraft. The lights were extremely dim and constant in their brightness/dimness. There were NO blinking lights. And there was NO sound.

Note: The witness seems to be quite familiar with lighting and appearance of regular aircraft. He has presented an argument that this craft did not have the appearance of a conventional aircraft.
