Electrical Failure at WalMart Store. UFOs Reported in Area at The Time

Date of Sighting: July 13, 2010
Time of Sighting: 8 PM MDT
Location of Sighting: Albuquerque, New Mexico (Walmart Superstore)

Description:

1. I have no intention of transmitting contact information. I can lose my job over this. The email address below is not mine, and the Albuquerque Journal did not report this possible contact. I doubt that the Journal is even aware of this.

2. Well into the second day of its closure "due to repairs", security personnel at the Albuquerque WalMart Super center at 301 San Mateo BLVD., Albuquerque, New Mexico have today linked what was originally thought to be a simple electrical failure to reports of a UFO in the area. Normally, the WalMart Super center remains open every day except Christmas.

One member of the security team on duty today, who preferred not to be named, stated "I'm not saying that a UFO shut off the power to our WalMart. Frankly, everybody's being real hush-hush about what actually did shut down the power, because it was weird, the way it happened. UFOs have done this before, and you have to take it into consideration." The same source later added, "I didn't see a UFO, but I know of three witnesses who have come forward, saying they did. All three were customers here at WalMart, and all three say they saw this UFO immediately before the power went out. You can't just ignore that."

The power at the WalMart Super center shut down for the entire store Tuesday night, July 13, around 8 PM. It was a very localized power outage that only affected the super center itself, and all of the lights in the parking lot. Other than the McDonalds restaurant inside the Super center, no other businesses were affected. Street lights utilizing the local civil power, were also unaffected.

"The electrical guys still haven't figured out what the problem is. Everything just shut down," one member of the security team stated. "They called in extra security to escort everybody from the store last night, 'cause it was already getting dark outside. It was a real mess."

UFOs were reportedly videotaped by numerous individuals in various New Mexico locations on July 4.

An Albuquerque, NM, witness also reported a silent, "brilliantly lit white ball" hovering in the night sky on March 4, according to records from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database. Witnesses in Albuquerque reported as well a series of orange spheres moving across the night sky on March 21, 2010, that appeared to fly in a V-formation, according to MUFON. More UFO reports were made in Albuquerque on March 30-31.

Note: A search of 2010 articles published by Albuquerque Journal did not reveal any articles relevant to the above incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to file a report.
