Low Flying Object With Blinking Lights Emits Lights Toward Ground
Ashville is in Northeastern Alabama
About 40 Miles Northeast of Birmingham.

Time of Sighting: 8:40 PM CDT
Location of Sighting: Ashville, Alabama (See Map)
Description: At first, we thought we saw an airplane. The object started out moving parallel to the tree line, had a blinking white light and looked as though 2 light rays were streaming toward the ground. Then it hovered, reversed direction and moved forward a few times. It continued through the clear night sky for approximately a minute or two until out of sight behind some trees. There was no noise at all. We expected it to be a helicopter, but never heard it at all. It moved from the east to the west over the Ragland/Pell City Alabama areas. I was just wondering if ANYONE else reported this oddity in OUR area.
Note: So far no other reports have been received from this area on the above date.
