Date of Sighting: June 7, 2010
Time of Sighting: 10 to 11:30 PM EDT
Location of Sighting: Augusta, Kentucky (See Map)

Description: We saw a small bright light the size of a star moving south to north. As it was flying it got real bright so that you couldn't see the object then it went back to normal. We have spotted more than this, but they have never done that before. I thought most of them were planes, but they had no flashing or blinking lights

Note: Several bright satellites were visible in the time window when the sightings occurred. The witness's report fits Iridium Flare satellite appearance, but no known Iridium Flares were visible in the location and the time of the sighting. Skies were clear at the time of the sightings.
