2 See Dark Gray Object Hover & Then Accelerate RapidlyDate of Sighting: July 11, 2010
Time of Sighting: Between 3:15 & 4:00 pm EDT
Location of Sighting: Detroit, Michigan
Description: We saw an object in the distance hover and then move in a straight line accelerating to a specific point in the sky some many miles away in seconds. The object stopped from the tremendous speed instantly. Two people watched for 30 to 60 seconds before the object became too hard to follow. The general location would be over Lake St. Clair. The observation point was a parking lot behind The rooster tail on the Detroit River. We watched the object move 6 to 7 times, darting from point to point, hovering momentarily before changing location. It looked like the object was using high altitude clouds as a type of cover. Sunlight didn't brighten the object. It was dark gray, graphite in color. Last year a friend and I witnessed one of the glowing orbs in the evening sky red orange like glowing steel. That was over St. Clair Shores not more than a few hundred feet in the air. There was no sound. We noticed the orb in the southern sky and watched for 30 seconds as it traveled northwest eventually fading away and disappearing.
