Sighting Reports 2010 Light Hovers, Dims Out, Returns, & Moves Erratically in Night Sky
Date of Sighting: May 30, 2010 Description: I saw a small low light due east of Hillsboro, Illinois about 3:30 AM. The light hovered for 5 minutes and then went out. The light came back about 3 minutes later in same spot. The light moved slowly up what seemed around 1/8 mile up, then down about the same position, to the south slightly, and back north to where it was. It stayed in this area and was observed for about 15 minutes. Then the light faded and was gone. Note: Skies Were Clear at the Time of the Sighting. This introduces the possibility that the light could have been mistaken for a star. This is doubtful, but given that the light was observed in the same area of the sky for 15 minutes suggests that is a possibility. Send Drawings, Photos, or Videos Relating to Your Comments
