Light Brightens, Dims, and Disappears in Night SkyDate of Sighting: April 17, 2010
Time of Sighting: 10 PM CDT
Location of Sighting: Houma, Louisiana (S. Louisiana About 40 Miles SW of New Orleans)
Description: I saw a white light that was very high. The light moved slowly across the night sky. The light suddenly became very bright and then dimmed again. I thought it was a plane, but it was too high to be a plane and then suddenly it was gone. This occurred in about 10 seconds.
Note: The witness did not see an iridium flare or any other satellite according to satellite tables. Skies were clear at the time of the sighting.
