Man Sees Large Flying Rectangular Object About the Size of a BoxcarDate of Sighting: April 16, 2010
Time of Sighting: 8:15 AM CDT
Location of Sighting: Houston, Texas
Description: I saw a rectangular dark object about the size of a boxcar floating in the wind from southeast to northwest at about 15,000 feet. There were no apparent attachments. I watched it for several minutes.
Note: I wonder if the witness sighted a blimp? Skies were mostly cloudy at the time of the sighting with a layers of scattered clouds (partly cloudy) at 1,500; 3,000 and 10,000 feet. Skies were mostly cloudy at 25,000 feet. Surface winds were from east-southeast at 10 mph. Given these weather conditions the object was probably lower than the 15,000 feet estimated by the witness.
