Sighting Reports 2010 Couple See Very Large Slow Moving Orange Object in Night Sky
Date of Sighting: July 27, 2010
Time of Sighting: 11:35 PM CDT
Location of Sighting: Northwest Part of Houston, Texas
Description: Listen to Witness Report (MP3)
The witness called and left a few voice mail messages regarding his sighting. Time constraints prevented me from returning his calls. I finally spoke to him and found his report to be quite explicit and also unexplainable. He was out doing routine checks of his property before retiring. (He normally does this every night.) He noticed a very bright orange light to the south moving slowly towards his position. The light moved directly overhead and was very large. He estimated the size to be near or slightly bigger than a full moon. The object emitted no sound and continued to move northward. He had sight of the object for about 4 to 6 minutes. He called to his wife after the object passed overhead. She did see the object as it was moving away towards the north.
Note: This object was not an airplane, helicopter, meteor, balloon or satellite. What does that leave? Unidentified!
