Sighting Reports 2010 3 White Lights With Adjacent Red Lights Move in Formation Across Night Sky
Date of Sighting: July 13, 2010 Description: About 10:00 PM I was looking at the stars and I noticed three moving together in the same direction. They were brighter than the other stars, with a red blinking light immediately next to and below each of the bright lights. They looked to be a few miles away, but the lights were far enough apart to seem like they were hundreds of feet apart. Two were on the same plane, with the third at about 45 degree angle from the middle one and also about hundreds of feet apart. They moved in the same pattern at the same speed, not fast, but deliberate toward the east until I could see them no longer. I would guess that the time they went from due south (also about 45 degrees) to due east was likely about 30 seconds. I heard no sound like helicopters or jets flying in formation. There was total silence. The lights certainly were not landing headlights as it never flew toward me nor to Pasco airport. I live in the city of Kennewick. I have never seen anything like this before. There was no zigzag movement, but the lights maintained the same formation throughout. Note: Comments Received July 31, 2010: My wife and I plus 6 other people at a late BBQ saw the same thing that this guy described. Same time headed same direction. The next day I found out my uncle saw the same thing on the other side of town headed in our direction about 15 minutes before we saw it. Send Drawings, Photos, or Videos Relating to Your Comments
