Slow Moving Orange Orb Seen in Night SkyDate of Sighting: May 27, 2010
Time of Sighting: 11:15 to 11:20 PM EDT
Location of Sighting: Lakeland, Florida
Description: Two witnessed the object. One of the witnesses called on the night of the sighting and reported that she and her husband saw a slow moving orange orb move slowly southward. The object was observed for about 10 minutes.
Note: A United Launch Alliance Delta IV Rocket carrying a Boeing GPS Satellite was launched from Cape Canaveral, FL at 11 PM on May 27. It is possible that the above sighting could be due to this rocket launch.
