Date of Sighting: July 26, 2010 (Estimated Date)
Time of Sighting: 10 PM CDT
Location of Sighting: LaMonte, Missouri

Description: About a month or so before the woman in Warrensburg reported her sighting, I was asleep early, about 10 PM when I heard a loud humming noise coming from outside. I got out of bed and looked outside and I saw a huge set of triangular lights glowing green, blue and red. The object was across the field from our house and it hovered, banked left towards the direction of the base and then it QUICKLY was gone. It scared me so bad so I woke my boyfriend up and I was yelling the whole time, but by the time he got to the window, it was gone. I remember that humming noise though. It was very loud.

Note: The witness is comparing her sighting to a similar sighting which occurred in Warrensburg, Missouri on August 26, 2010.

Additional Report Prepared by Barbara Becker (Director of the Missouri Investigators Group):

Follow up interview with LaMonte, MO Witness.

The witness lives on a 240 acre farm.

According to the witness, the only other house near where she and her boyfriend live was a home that a few months earlier exploded from a propane tank leak. The violence of that explosion shook their bed. She estimates that the object was approximately 750 yards north of her home, or about in the same area as the burned out house. She states that she is a "heavy sleeper" and when the house exploded she didn't even wake up. The night of the sighting was a different story. The hum, a "transformer sound, only louder," "woke me out of a dead sleep and I was immediately scared, before I even looked out of the blinds and saw the lights." "What I saw was huge, with a set of red, green and white, flashing lights, 2 rows that were shaped like a "V". It looked like it was hovering but seconds later, it banked left towards the base and very quickly disappeared. It had to have been black in color because all you could see were essentially the lights. It was so strange how it sat there, then shot away and I lost sight of it as it went behind the trees."

Her boyfriend remained asleep during the event and her Blue Heeler dog "neither moved nor made a sound." By the time she woke her boyfriend and got him to the window the object was gone.

She was married to a man in the service and has lived all around the world and seen lots of planes. "I have lived in the Whiteman area for many years and this was no plane.  Like I said, it was no plane and I was scared the second that noise woke me up. I knew it was not normal."
