Bright White Light Seen Moving Northward in Night Sky
Laurel is in South Central Montana About 10 Miles West of Billings.
Date of Sighting: January 17, 2010
Time of Sighting: 7 PM MST

Description: I was outside of the Laurel golf course having a smoke when I was sharing my UFO beliefs with my co-workers (Joe and Matt). We were looking Northeast at an orange star thinking it was strange when Matt pointed Northwest and said: What is that? I turned and said now do you guys believe me. It was a bright white light and was moving North very slowly. Then it started getting dimmer and then just disappeared as if it knew we had spotted it. It seemed too high up to be an airplane and was too low to be a satellite. It was a bigger and brighter light that is usually seen from airplanes.
Note: The witness had some preconceived notions of UFOs before the light was sighted. This doesn't discount what he saw, but adds some bias to his interpretation.
