Merlin is in Southwestern Oregon Near Grants Pass.

Description: My wife and I were on the front porch of our home in Merlin, Oregon .We noticed a very bright white object that was oval or V shaped and lite up around edges. It moved southeast to east changing direction with a slight curve towards the town of Grants pass, Oregon. It became dimmer and disappeared. Then we turned around to find another one the same as the first hovering in the same spot for 30 minutes. At this time I was able to get my camera and take pictures. I don't know what it was, but if you zoom in on the picture I took it is a V shaped object of 5 bright lights. We were pretty shocked to see two of the same objects in our sky that night. Maybe someone can look at the pictures I took to figure it out. Very cool!

Note: The movement of the object is all due to camera movement. The enlargement of the photo reveals one light of a triangular shape. Multiple lights are not revealed. The witnesses said that they saw multiple lights. Another sighting of five glowing spheres was made on the same night to the north near Salem Oregon. It is not known if the two sightings are related.
