Location of Sighting: Palm Coast, Florida

Description: We saw a glowing object with flames coming out of it flying from west to east in the sky at night around 10:30 PM. It went west to east for approximately 2 1/2 minutes then all of a sudden it turned south and just vanished. I was on the phone with someone in a different part of town and they went outside and saw the same exact thing at the same time. It was flying below the moon, but looked very close. I know there are a lot of meteor sightings recently, but I did not read or see anything regarding this sighting. I also understand that a missile went up on that same night, but it would not have gone in the path it went and it was not the same time that this object was spotted. If anybody else has seen this object, please let me know.

Note: A United Launch Alliance Delta IV Rocket Carrying a Boeing GPS Satellite Was Launched from Cape Canaveral, FL at 11 PM on May 27. This rocket launch was 30 minutes after the above sighting. (This is assuming that the witness has recorded the time correctly.)
