Woman Sees "X" Shaped Object Hover in Night Sky & Then Speed Away
Ripley is in Western West Virginia.

Time of Sighting: 10 PM EDT

Description: I saw an object hanging around in the sky. This object appeared to be like an X-shape. "It" was also easy to see because of its' bright yellow-orange light. I observed the thing for about ten minutes and it did not move. After awhile, it moved south toward me, and continued to "fly" over me. I could see the bottom of craft as it passed by me. It appeared to be tubular, maybe like a torpedo or submarine in the sky! There was lights all around the thing. It continued moving southwest about 100 mph.
Note: I have never received a report of an aerial object of this shape. A photo would have been most useful. A sketch has been requested from the witness. Updates will be posted.
