Description: A couple of days ago, I filled out a report of two high flying UFOs that nearly collided. I never thought that I would be doing this again. I will never ever forget what I saw yesterday. It has haunted me with questions all day today. At approximately 6 PM yesterday 5/06/2010, I heard a massive airline leave our small airport. I looked up to see an airbus with a tan front end and a weird tail on it. This huge plane was coming out of our municipal airport which is only used for small aircraft. I turned toward my front door while looking up. And to the east approximately 1,500 ft above my home was a cigar shaped UFO floating by between 60 and 70 mph. It obviously was watching and following this airbus. I thought to get my camera and ran to the door, but the door was locked accidentally by my 10 year old granddaughter. I yelled and beat on the door and my wife and granddaughter came blasting out to see what was wrong. I pointed at the craft and said look no wings! No sound! (You could still hear the sound of the airbus though.) I knew I did not have time to take a picture so I grabbed my rifle scope and tried to see it. If you have ever tried to do that, its near to impossible! My wife and granddaughter which did not believe in UfOs now had substantial proof. The UFO was approximately 60 feet to 70 feet long, 8 to 10 feet high and approximately 15 feet wide. It was moving at a speed of which any of our aircraft would fall out of the sky. It was metallic gray, glistened in the setting sun as it drifted upward keeping a level profile. From the side appearance, it looked like a disc because of the abrupt downward slope at each end of the craft. I watched as the airbus made a slight left turn into the clouds and the UFO angled in that direction then vanished. Right before it vanished, I got a glimpse of the rear of the craft and it appeared to have an almost octagon shape ( a wide octagon with rounded points). This I cannot say for sure as it was too far away. It seemed either to be half cloaked or the energy from it made it seem a bit hazy. I obtained aircraft departure records from the airport. It does not show a large airplane leaving our airport! We live In Rogers, Arkansas which is a very small town and also the near home of Walmart. I am positive that the UFO was with this airbus. (Maybe it was aiding the airbus up out of the small airport.)

Second Report by Witness (In Response to Investigator Questions): Yes, the sighting occurred on Thursday, May 6 between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. I got home at 5 PM, talked to my wife for 1/2 hr to 45 minutes on the patio. She went inside, and about 10 minutes later I called them out to see the UFO. According to the sun yesterday it was closer to 6 PM. My wife doesn't speak of the sighting, but last night she said that she had seen the object again yesterday morning about 8 to 9 am as I was driving to work. I wish my granddaughter would of seen it again to confirm this. I feel it takes two people to substantiate a sighting.

Additional Information Provided By Witness: The Global Express XRS (a fifty million dollar plane) fit the description and color markings of the plane that took off. Note: The witness originally thought that the aircraft that took off (and was followed by the UFO) was an airbus. The Global Express XRS aircraft has a cruise speed of Mach 0.85.

Note: The witness has described something that could be a danger to air traffic even though he makes the statement that object may have been "aiding the airbus." He mentions other sightings in this report and subsequent communications. (This doesn't discount this sighting, but it indicates that the witness could be prone to speculation.) The witness did find departure schedules for the airport. This is useful information and will be used to investigate this report. Radar data has been received from the FAA and analyzed. (See report below.)

Radar Analysis: The Rogers, Arkansas area is apparently in a "radar hole" as the radar does not show any aircraft going into or out of the Rogers, Arkansas Airport. The reason for this is not known. The area could be in a "radar hole" and be too far from any radar antenna that will show low flying aircraft. Only one possible target is unknown and is about 5 miles west of the airport. Only one return was painted which indicates that the return is likely a "radar angel" and not a real object. Also the aircraft present near the "radar angel" flew through the area about 30 minutes before the radar angel was detected. (The radar map shows all returns from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM CDT.) It is a rarity to find UFO eye witness reports that correlate well with radar returns.

Radar Analysis Update: - June 4, 2010: The FAA has notified me that more radar data will be sent. It is hopeful that these data will be from a closer radar antenna. Updates will be posted.
