Couple See Round Metallic Craft Flying Low Over Trees
The Sighting Occurred in Southwest Oregon
About 50 Miles North of Medford, Oregon.

The witness called and left a voice mail message about 20 minutes after the sighting. She and her boyfriend were driving southbound on I-5 and saw a round spherical object of metallic color flying slowly over the tree tops to the east. The object was illuminated on the perimeter with several white lights. They lost sight of the object in about 3 minutes as the road curved and the object was out of their view. The witness said that several cars were on the road at the time.
Note: The witness stated that skies were partly cloudy with a few visible stars. The weather observation at Roseburg showed cloudy skies with cloud heights varying between 700 and 1,300 feet. Saturn was in the sky to the southeast at an elevation of 30 degrees above the horizon. It is doubtful that the witnesses saw Saturn because the object they saw was lower and had multiple lights. Anyone else who saw this object is urged to file a report.
