Man Sees Aerial Round Orange Object Surrounded by Red Band
Santa Cruz is About 50 Miles South of San Francisco.

The witness called early in the morning the day after his sighting and left a voice-mail message. He was outside and noticed a bright orange object surrounded by red shining through the clouds. The object was circular and was moving slowly towards the north. He saw the object for about 5 minutes and one other person also witnessed the sighting. He stated that he felt "nervous" about the sighting had trouble sleeping that night.
Note: The official weather observation showed that a few clouds were in the sky with bases at 1,100 feet and skies were overcast at 3,500 feet. Visibility was seven miles.
