Light Descends Rapidly & Then Stops in Night Sky
Springfield is in West Central Oregon.

Description: We too saw this light in the sky the other night. I swore it fell like a few thousand feet and then just sat there. I was going to look at it with my binoculars when I got home, but the trees stopped the view. I will carry them with me from now on. At first we thought it was a speed chopper, but it didn't move and flashed lights. I swore it fell a great distance and then just stopped.
